How many figures are we looking for?

This was one of my first questions when I began my research into this carousel. After all, I needed to know when I could stop looking! Thankfully, despite the lack of information, we do know that the carousel had, allegedly, 49 figures. This information was found on the "Muller #1" silent auction poster, which states that the auction will include "49 exquisite figures that are quite possibly the first work of the Muller brothers after leaving the Dentzel shop." To date, I believe I have identified 30 individual figures--more than I would have expected, given their age and the lack of information!

I am slowly working to add each figure onto this site (information is currently shoved into a poorly organized slideshow on my laptop, so it needs some neatening up to be posted here. Furthermore, I am awaiting permission from many individuals to include their photos on this site (I am hopeful that most, if not all, will allow it since it is for educational/informational purposes). Either way, I certainly have my work cut out for me.
